Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones

Commissioner Estrada González has a degree in Economics from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, he has a Master in Economics from the Colegio de México, and a Master and PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, USA. 

He served as Director de Mercados Regulados y Licitaciones in the Federal Competition Commission, where he also held the positions of Director General de Estudios Económicos and Director General de Regulación Internacional. 

In the private sector he has served as Subdirector de Planeación y Finanzas in Vitro Vidrio Plano from April 1999 to April 2001, and Director at PMI North America Holding from August 1996 to March 1999.

In the academic field, he has served as Director of the Master in Business from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
